Despite the number of times I have been to Pompeii and Herculaneum, and my interests, until this trip I had never managed to get to Naples on a day when the famous Archeological Museum was actually open

Despite its reputation and the quality of the collection, I must say that I didn't think that the museum itself was worth a journey to Naples.
